Cooking Korean Ricecake

It was in my list of to do things and finally I gave it a try. With no recipe on hand and going by my memory of how it should taste like, I made this 炒辣年糕 (Korean spicy ricecake).

The frozen ricecake was given to me by my Korean hairdresser.

This Gochujang was given to me by my sister when she was on a business trip to Korea.

Some of the ingredients I found in my fridge.

And this is what I've come up with.

It would have look and taste better if I could find spring onions at home. But then since I couldn't find, I have to make do without it.

Ah Leng, thanks for the two books. I like it. Will try something from there soon.

This one is not as close to the original as I would like. I think the chilli paste is not quite right. Haiz, have to search again for different type of paste to use.
