Wedding Cupcakes

I have been lazy ever since my holidays in December. Have not been baking or cooking since. If not for my friend who has asked me to bake some cupcakes for her brother's wedding tomorrow, I think my kitchen will remain closed for a while. I copied some ideas from other bloggers on the design for these wedding cupcakes. Hope my friend will like it.

I like how you put in your effort and time in making them, like I don't taste them but I could feel the love and passion. How bout next time you make my wedding cake? I want a 4 layers topsy turvy cake please, thank you!

Hi,

May I know was the floral prints around the edge done? Was there a stamp that can be used to create that. If yes, do you mind telling me where to get them? Many many thanks.

Yes, I used a stamp to get the pattern. I got it from some online blog. I think it is called shopnbake or something like that. I lost the link if not I would have given it to you here.

Those cupcakes are adorable!! This is my first time to your site but it looks like you've got lots of cute recipes. :)

I'm actually running a contest on my blog this week, if you submit your favorite Valentine's Day recipe, you can win a free heart-shaped cake pan. If you're interested you should check it out.

Either way, love your site and will be back!

Hi! Love your site and love your fondant cupcakes.

Sorry but this is a long one; I need some help! I made some fondant figurines (I used the recipe on your site)to put on top of my cupcakes that I want to distribute during CNY. But the ants keep getting to them!!!

I tried putting them on a tray, then creating a moat so that the ants can't cross the water. It works but how do I prevent the other insects from flying on top of them?

Then I tried putting the whole thing in the oven, but after a few days, the figurines got so humid that the black parts seeped into everything.

Next, I just cling-wrapped the whole thing but today, the ants managed to find a way in AND the black parts are starting to seep into the other parts.

How can you make the figurines ahead of time without it being attacked? I can't put it closely together in a box cause the figurines are sticky. So, when I want to use them, I have to scrap it out, therefore I need a bit of space to do that.

Sorry again for such a long comment but I really need help. CNY is coming soon and if fondant figurines are not going to work, I have to bake something else to give away.

Thanks!
