Happy Father's Day

My dad is not really interested to have a cake baked for him. Rather, he asked for his favourite chicken pie. So here it is, my Father's Day chicken pie. If you see carefully, I forgot to put "'s" after the word 'Father'. Blur me lor.

Invited parents-in-law to dinner and as requested by hubby, I made doubleboil pear with white fungus, Chinese almonds and rock sugar for them. Hubby and I had it cold whereas in-laws had it warm.

Thanks Amy.

Hi Ah Pei and thanks for visiting my blog. With time and practice, you will be a great mum that can cook and bake. I am sure you can do it as long as you have the interest.

Sometimes I would choose a chicken pie over a cake too.

Hi,
The pie looks fab - what a clever idea to write the message on it!!!
Never braved making a pie before but the children love them so maybe i'll give it a go!!

Hi Hugbear
Like to ask abt the croquettes. Tried making it once but everything fall out once I put into the oil to fry. Is there a special tactic to doing it?

Hi Wendy, you can add some breadcrumbs into the mixture to hold them together better. Also make sure the croquettes are compactly packed so that it won't just float away as soon as you put them into the oil. Also oil cannot be overly hot when you first put the croquettes in.

Hi Maya Yunos, this is very easy to make. In fact I do not have a recipe but I just do it by estimation. I will try to write down the instructions for you.
