Hi Bella, it is the edible photo print.
Jassy, I used the vanilla cupcake recipe and yes I piped chocolate ganache on the cupcakes before decorating them with fondants flowers and butterflies.
Hi Hugbear,
did u use a printer n ink specially reserve for printing on cakes?? is it expensive? very nice!!
Hi Hugbear,
Your cupcakes are so pretty! :)
Where can I buy the fondant flowers and butterflies? Or did you make them yourself?
Winnie
Hi Hugbear,
Its a lovely cake. really. I've been following your blog anonymously. May I know where u got the edible print from? is there anywhere to learn more about using edible photo prints and how to go about doing it. I have no clue and it looks fantastic. would love to give it a shot for my daughter's bday.thanks
Hi everyone, I got the edible print from someone who prints them. All you have to do is to look for a picture that you like and email it to her and she will print it on edible wafer paper and edible ink. You just need to place the print onto your frosted cake, starting from the center out to avoid creating air pockets between the print and the cake. After that you can just continue one with your decoration of your cake.
For those who print edible print, they need to use a brand new printer that they reserve only for printing this type of print. If you are interested you can email me and I can give you the lady's contact.
I made all the fondant flowers, bugs, bees and butterflies myself using sugar paste.
Thank you Hugbear. Appreciate your reply. I couldn't find your email add on your blog. May I pls know your email address. Thanks
wow!! very beautiful......
Hi Sheena, my email address is leeleet@gmail.com
Just beautiful!
hi hugbear,
To create the flowers and butterfly.. Can i use fondant instead?? Or i shd use sugar paste in order to make it hard and last longer?? Where are u normally keep after finishing all the cupcakes?
Thanks.
Actually I used sugarpaste which is also known as fondant. I just leave the cake outside not in the fridge after I have decorated them with fondant or sugarpaste.
Hi, I'm a reader of your blog and I want to ask if you cool the chocolate ganache before putting it into a piping bag to pipe onto the cupcake? And all your products looks delicious ! (:
Thanks for your compliment. Yes, I cool it down then put it in the fridge for a little while so that the chocolate ganache can be a bit thicker for piping purposes.
