One of my friends had asked me to bake a birthday cake for her daughter's birthday celebration today. The girl is 9 this year and she didn't want a very childish cake. After deciding on several themes, I finally decided to make a fondant covered cake for her. This is what I have done. This is a chocolate cake sandwiched with chocolate ganache and covered with marshmallow fondant.

All packed and ready to go.

Hi Baking Mum. Fondant does not taste good at all. It's too sugary and soft. When I use fondant in my cakes, people start taking it off. Is there any way to make it taste better?
Hi Lalaine, thanks for visiting.
Hi Charlene, try to use marshmallow fondant. It sure taste better than fondant/sugar paste.
Hi Lee Lee.
Cld u share the cake recipe for this fondant cake? thks =)
