For two consecutive days, I have made guo tie. My dh and dss just love to eat guo tie. In fact my elder boy has learned to eat his with black vinegar only last weekend. DH likes his guo tie with lots of black vinegar and young ginger and he thinks my guo tie is getting better and better. LOL
Made too much of it on Sunday and I shared some with my neighbour.

Very nice leelee, LOL I can eat quotie with vinegar and ginger everyday!!!! :) My dd wont eat ginger but with quotie or hainanese chicken rice-- she can eat lots!!!
Hahaha, your dd is cute. You know something, you can try getting guotie with those Japanese pickled ginger with black vinegar, also as yummy.
Hi lily.... can i just ask you what's the different between this HK style guo tie and the normal one....? From the picture, this one look a bit small and rounder...veri cute...care to share the recipe too....cos our family memeber also loves this veri much....
Yummylicious!!! Wah, yours look fat-fat and delicious!!! Mine looked so skinny. Thank goodness, DH loved it anyway.
Ellena, not much difference from the normal guotie. I have posted a recipe of guotie before in M4M and I used the same method except that this time round I only use normal tap water instead of the hot and cold water which I used in the recipe posted.
As for the shape, I was practising wrapping with only two fingers doing the pattern. LOL
This is my 1st time logging into your blog. Interesting blog. Is it possible to share your recipe for guo tie?
