Bacon Onion Parmesan Cheese Buns

I haven't been baking bread for a while. Today I just feel like making some. Since I am craving for some bacon bread and have some bacon in the fridge, I decided that I shall do it then. Instead of using my other bacon onion bread recipe, I used my basic sweet bread dough and just added my bacon and onion which was cooked separately. Oh ya, I also topped it off with freshly grated parmesan cheese as I prefer this than the store bought grated parmesan cheese. Oh so yummy...

This is fantastic!
Love the combination of bacon+onion+parmesan cheese.
An addition of garlic would be good too :D

Hi sweet-tooth, thanks for your suggestions. Great idea, maybe can use garlic powder?

Hi Mying, you can get the basic sweet bread dough from my blog. What I did was just add some sauteed onion and toasted bacon into the bread and incorporate them. Then follow the same method of dividing the dough into individual portion and place into a baking tin and egg wash it and then sprinkle chesse on top. Bake as per the bread recipe.
