Goldfish wanton

Thought this might be a good idea for the coming CNY reunion dinner. It is simple to make and the fillings can be made ahead of time and leave it in the freezer. Just need to thaw it out when you are ready to make the goldfish wanton. You can actually use your favourite wanton filling recipe and instead of using wanton skin, use the frozen popiah skin to wrap into this shape.

Wah LeeLee, I said it before, I just had to say it again here. I like this a lot, really look like goldfish!

I will attempt to make my own goldfish next time. If I know how to do it by looking at your pictures. LOL!

Ching, I saw that in a book and it came with no instructions, just picture. Heeheheh

Anyway, not difficult, use a small size popiah skin and place a small amount of fillings at a corner of the skin. Roll it up using the popiah until you come to the opposite end. Leave a little bit of skin to represent the head of the fish. Twist the two sides to overlap each other. Secure it with some eggwhite.
