I have had such experience before too. I don't know what brand of eggs I use because I usually buy by the tray from the wholesaler through my aunty. INstead of evaporated milk, I used fresh milk. You can use either a swiss roll pan, like what I did here and cut it into half and spread with some buttercream and stack it up.
